Who we are and scope

RDGAMER STUDIO is the project responsible for the RDGAMER website, desktop application and its account-connection service. This policy explains the data involved in those services. Contact the project at red.max42@outlook.com.

Capture, recordings and Highlights

The app processes the screen, game, camera, microphone and other sources you enable to compose your scenes. Settings, recordings, clips, local diagnostics and Highlights learning examples are stored on your device. Highlights image/audio analysis runs locally; its analysis frames and microphone audio are not uploaded to our account service or a cloud AI service.

When you start a stream, your chosen audio/video and broadcast information are sent to the destinations you selected. Browser sources, remote media and external links can contact their own providers. You control which sources and destinations are used.

Connected platform accounts

Connecting a platform is optional and uses that platform’s authorization flow. Depending on the platform and permissions granted, the app processes account/channel identifiers, display names, profile images, authorization scopes and expiry times, access/refresh tokens, stream server/key information, broadcast titles/categories and the chat or event data needed for features you enable. We do not ask you to enter your platform password into RDGAMER.

Our Cloudflare-hosted connection service processes TikTok, Twitch and Kick authorization requests. TikTok rotating credentials are encrypted in server storage so sessions can recover from a lost client response; the desktop app holds an opaque session protected by Windows. Twitch/Kick credentials are carried in encrypted sessions, with server-side state for enabled chat/events. Where YouTube connection is available, its desktop authorization and API requests are handled by the app. Availability and permissions remain controlled by each platform.

Why we process data

We use these data to deliver the capture, recording, streaming, account connection, chat, event, update and support functions you request; maintain secure sessions; prevent misuse; and diagnose service failures. We do not sell personal data, use connected-account data for advertising profiles, or use your captured media to train a cloud AI model. Processing follows your feature choices, permissions and applicable legal requirements.

Website, downloads and technical requests

The website stores your language preference in browser local storage. We have not added advertising trackers or visitor analytics scripts. Visiting the site, downloading an installer or checking for updates sends ordinary technical requests to our hosting services; these can include IP address, request time, URL and browser/client information. Cloudflare processes request and security data under its own policies and service configuration.

Providers, support and disclosures

Data are shared with the streaming platforms you connect or stream to and with infrastructure providers needed to operate our site and connection service, including Cloudflare. Email support uses Microsoft Outlook. Optional donations are handled by Ko-fi and its payment providers; information they share with the project, such as donor name, email, amount or message, is used to manage that support. External services have their own policies and may process data in other countries.

We may disclose information where legally required or necessary to address security incidents, fraud or harm. We limit access to what is needed for the task. Do not send account passwords, access tokens, refresh tokens or stream keys in a support email.

Storage and retention

You control locally saved media and settings and can remove them from your device. Server authorization state is retained while needed for the connected grant. TikTok credentials are removed when the service successfully processes disconnection or when the grant expires; a minimal revocation marker can remain until older sessions also expire to prevent reuse. Current chat/event buffers contain recent activity, normally up to 15 minutes, with bounded cleanup after inactive device sessions end. Hosting/security logs and support correspondence follow operational, dispute and applicable legal needs.

Your choices and deletion requests

Disable sources or Highlights features you do not want, disconnect accounts in the app, and revoke access in the connected platform’s account settings. Google users can also manage access at their Google Account permissions page. Disconnection does not delete broadcasts or content already held by a platform. Clear browser site data to remove the website language preference, and delete local recordings separately if desired.

For access, correction, deletion or other privacy requests concerning data under our control, email red.max42@outlook.com. Describe the request and relevant platform/account without sending secret credentials. We may need proportionate information to verify the request and locate the data. We respond subject to applicable law, including any required retention and rights that apply where you live.

Security, eligibility and changes

We use HTTPS, encrypted authorization sessions and Windows protection for locally stored credentials. No system guarantees absolute security. The service is intended for users eligible to use the connected platforms; minors must meet applicable age and permission requirements. We do not knowingly seek children’s personal data. Contact us if you believe such data were provided. Policy changes are published here with an updated date; material changes will be identified here and additional notice or consent used where required.
